If It Were Up to Me
October 26, 2005
The gloves are coming off as the clock is ticking on the Anglican endgame. In a most embarrassing gaffe, the extraordinarily apostate side has had its strategy leaked. If the opposition doesn’t already have its own schemes cooking, time’s a-wastin’! If only they would say the word, we might contrive to send picked rapid-deployment parachute teams of young Malay, African, Polish and Tartar Jesuits from secret Irish seminaries into hundreds of Episcopalian parishes to establish Anglican Use outposts. And there would be air-mobile lawyers as well, maybe even a Legatus a Latere. (Hat tip: GR.)This is If It Were Up to Me in The Japery, a part of The New Pantagruel.
